The AirCARE1™ is committed to providing the highest quality of patient care. We understand the patient's comfort is just as important as having the proper medical care. Creating a comfortable environment for the patients helps relieve some of the stress they are under and makes it easier for them to relax during their flight. Below are the steps we take to provide a pleasant and relaxing medical environment.
AirCARE1™ understands the emotional needs of the patient and family member experience relating to the stressors of flight. We provide the following stress relievers as appropriate.
Pleasant Medical Environment
- Therapeutic music provided through noise canceling headsets
- Therapeutic hand massage with aromatherapy
- Inflight movies
- Reading materials
Crew Rest
Being well rested enables the AirCARE1™ team to continuously monitor your patient's condition and take any required action necessary. This is essential to assure your patient's comfort and medical well being.
To ensure that our crew members are well-rested for each flight, we do not stay on the road for extended lengths of time. Additionally our crew members stringently follow the FAA guidelines for flight duty time and crew rest.
